Fisher and Tacheny replace Kathryn Dronenberg and Marian Bergeson, appointed members of the former Dir Pete Wilson, whose mandate expired in January. Board member Marion Joseph is the only mediator remains Wilson.
The board sets education policy for 6 million students, the selection of texts and academic standards.
Only three of 11 members of minorities - and Monica Lozano, Latina, plans to resign soon. With Fisher, the Board of Directors has six heads of economics, two former mayors, a former capital, and the state is the only one of 17 years of occupation allows a binding vote on a policy-making body .

“It is not my choice,” said Mary Bergan, president of the Teachers Association of California. But she was joking, “he seems to understand, investment, it may perhaps one million extra for public schools, as it did for charter flights.
Tacheny, other representatives, is 36 years, executive director of the California Business for Educational Excellence, back Davis’ push for the review and academic standards.
